About Philippa
I am a qualified UKCC Level 2 badminton coach with over 10 years playing experience, currently coaching both Oxfordshire county and community players of various ages and abilities. I also volunteer my time at Chilwell Olympians junior club, where many students progress into the County set-up and beyond.

As a qualified coach my aim is to inspire, encourage and support students to achieve their goals…and then surpass them. Sessions are uniquely tailored to deliver pertinent material step-by-step as building a strong foundation and good technique is critical before moving onto more challenging skills. I believe in a holistic, flexible, and fun approach to coaching, as one size does not necessarily fit all. Therefore, I enjoy learning how to get the best out of each player and developing new ways to challenge them. What you can expect from me: • Organised & coherent lessons tailored to address individual requirements, with a plan for progression. • A reliable, punctual, and professional manner. • Enthusiasm and a smile! What I expect from you: • A positive attitude towards learning and your best effort.
