About Archie
I have been writing about and performing music for 13 years, I have a strong passion for analysis and theory, as well as musical philosophy and psychoanalysis. I am very familiar with both GCSE and A level courses, and scored very highly in both. Currently I am involved at the cutting edge of research regarding music of 1400's France, Italy and the UK, performing with some of the most prestigious consorts in Europe. I work as a professional singer at Cathedrals throughout England.

Lessons will be an hour long, I am able to cater to individual needs regarding skill level and learning goals. Looking at exam technique is vital, although I believe theory (as well as essay writing) is best taught while focussing on a students interests while holding a firm grasp of large and small concepts. I will also teach you the tools for confident analysis, as well as the language level needed to score highly in an exam situation. I am an involved in exciting research projects involving music performance pre 1500 and hold a diploma in piano performance. I am predicted a first in my second year of the BA course at Cambridge.
