About Oscar
I am currently studying English Literature and Philosophy at Durham University, having achieved one of the highest A-Level marks in the country. Alongside this, I hold Grade 8 on the viola and have extensive experience coaching and teaching young people. My background means I can offer both academic support and practical guidance, helping students build confidence as well as knowledge. I welcome learners of all ages and levels, from beginners taking their first steps to older students preparing for exams.

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I know how challenging it can feel to begin something new, so I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I adapt my approach to suit each individual, keeping lessons engaging and effective. A typical session lasts about an hour, but I’m flexible depending on the student.
