About Emma
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Leeds. As an American who went to an international school in Germany, I think I can help teach a plethora of different writing styles. Generally, I'd love to help students become stronger writers and instill a deeper passion for literature and rhetoric. I'm willing to help in any way possible and cater to each individual's learning needs. I love teaching and think this would be a great way to support others.

It would really come down to catering to the student's needs. If they are at a primary or sixth-form level, it may be important to figure out what their school's lesson plan is and work more in-depth with that content. From there I would love to use online sources like Kahn Academy or Quizlet to tackle issues they may have. These are great platforms for visual learning of theoretical knowledge in English, as well as helpful for basic skills in academic writing. For tutoring literature there are also many novels I have studied in depth that we could take a look at, like the Great Gatsby or Mrs. Dalloway.
