I am a firm believer that everybody has the potential to excel in their studies, provided they find a way in which to enjoy learning. I completely understand the stress, anxiety and low moments that can come from A level studies; being under a great deal of pressure on top of being in a learning institution and being taught in ways you don't enjoy is not conducive.
I believe that in order to excel, you need to enjoy what you study. Everything can be made fun! We can work together to find out what teaching methods suit you best and move on from there.
I am a Law & Criminology student studying in Sheffield currently. I studied Philosophy and Ethics at A level and continue to research and read around this subject in my free time and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, which is what led me to start tutoring. I'm easy-going but disciplined, which I think is imperative when it comes to successful learning.
Studying at the University of Sheffield, reading Law and Criminology.

Writing – I founded, ran and edited an online magazine for 18 months, managing 20+ writers as well as writing articles myself. Working on it gave me a chance to hone my writing skills and work as part of a team; not only managing a group of people, but working alongside them to achieve something collectively. I have also recently started up a personal blog on which I hope to write personal essays and posts about feminism, mental health, politics and literature.
Philosophy – through studying philosophy I began to question the controversial nature of the law and how it affects the world and people around us, which led me to my interest in my current studies.
Reading – I am an avid reader, and treasure a large collection of books. I make an effort to make time for reading around my studies, my literary love extending to that of newspapers such as the Guardian and the New European.
Drawing and painting – Prior to my decision to study law I was initially going to go into the art field. I have had my work published in various zines and have won local awards for my artwork.
