About Khadija
I’m Khadija, a law student who genuinely enjoys working with students and helping them become more confident in their own abilities- I believe strongly every student has potential to succeed. Through my studies and experience in writing and journalism, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to communicate ideas clearly and write with purpose.
I want my lessons to feel supportive rather than intimidating. I take the time to understand how each student learns, explain things in a way that makes sense to them, and encourage them to think for themselves. My goal is for students to leave each lesson feeling that they understand something they previously found difficult- and that they can do it themselves, and have taken students from feeling like they could not score well in their papers to achieving amazing grades!

I provide personalised, exam-focused English tuition built around each student’s strengths, weaknesses and target grade. Lessons combine targeted questioning, model answers, timed exam practice etc. with a strong focus on teaching students how to think and write independently.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are tailored to the student’s level and goals. I draw on my experience in academic writing, journalism and published work, alongside previous tutoring experience, to help students develop effective exam technique.
I teach KS3, GCSE and Cambridge IGCSE English, particularly First Language English and English Language, with a focus on raising grades and building exam confidence.
