About Alex
Hi my name is Alex, and I am a music undergraduate student at University. I have been playing guitar and studying music for 11 years.
My online lessons are designed to be engaging and enjoyable for students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner learning the basics or a student wanting help to improve your skills I'll work with you to create a personalised lesson plan that can help you achieve your goals.

I will first discuss with the student what they feel their greatest areas for improvement are, and will then tailor the sessions for what will best suit them.
I will keep returning to core concepts like chords, intervals, key signatures at increasing depths rather than covering a topic once. I will combine both active listening (identifying intervals and chord progressions by ear) and hands-on work (writing out progressions).
My lessons last for one hour, and are aimed at GCSE or A-level students. I can specify the sessions to general non-exam theory or a specific syllabus. These lessons will be conducted online via Teams
