About Ricki
I have been learning from my music teacher for nearly 10 years and have become more confident in teaching others the skills that I have learnt.
I have taught a class of 5/10 in a Gurdwara where students attend by choice.
These skills then become useful when playing live on stage or even having to play in a band.
I started off by playing the Dhol at the age of 3 and later at the age of 6/7 I learnt how to play the Tabla. I have been playing for 14 years with bands on stage and also singers from abroad.

I am a determined, hardworking and motivated person towards others as well as myself. I have excellent organisational skills and have the urge to succeed in any given task. I enjoy undergoing difficult challenges and love to see where it takes me at the end. I love to see my students making excellent progress throughout classes as well as always asking for help when in need
Communication is a very important skill for me as I need to have a good connection with my students to help them become the best they can possibly be.
My method of teaching is to always be positive around students and to always encourage students to hit high targets that they may be unsure of.
