About A
Hi, I'm Anam and I'm a university student in the UK. I have previous experience working with children who have English as an additional language, teaching them to read, write and speak.
My education, work and life experiences have enabled me to gain a wide range of terminology and application of the English language, which I can help you learn. I can help with everything from learning the basics to job interview practice and exam practice (GSCE, A LEVEL, UNIVERSITY). I understand the difficulties of learning a new language, which is why my sessions will be as interactive and as informative as possible. Additionally, I am Bilingual myself as English is my first language and Punjabi is my second.

My teaching style revolves around the student specifically as every student has different needs. Depending on the English level that the student already has, I would start with basics such as reading, writing, speaking and pronunciation. For children, I start small and work my way up, teaching basic words, rhyming, numbers and proper pronunciation. I also teach job interview skills, CV writing, exam practice and corusework practice. Furthermore, I specialise in conversational English and whilst I teach basic conversational skills, I can also teach slang terms and 'banter'. Teaching children English was the most rewarding experience for both me and the student.
