About Alma
I am currently an undergraduate student, double-majoring in English Literature and Creative Writing, and minoring in Korean. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish. I'm also currently working on a TEFL certification. I have a lot of experience tutoring from elementary to high school. My most recent success is having my student named most improved in his English class for his writing skills.

I am patient and encouraging, I don't believe in scaring or worrying the student, although I do emphasize the importance of schoolwork. I begin by assessing what the student's weaknesses are and then begin working on strengthening them. When providing writing assistance, I help the student find the words with which to express themselves and help them find the flow of those words. I have experience helping students from elementary to high school in English (reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing), Spanish (language acquisition), and elementary math.
