About Tamanna
During my senior year of high school and Winter of 2022, I was an intern in the education department at the National Aquarium. Throughout my time there, I have taught in virtual, in-person, and hybrid settings; designed and wrote lesson plans for Henry Hall Fellows (grades 9th-12th); and created multiple research-based and educational PowerPoints. I have learned how to communicate with people of all ages and gained professionalism skills within the work environment. I have learned how to answer and ask questions to get students engaged with material and encourage their curiosity. From my time as a camp counselor, I have also learned to organize activities and provide emotional support to children. In general, I am a very social and outspoken person so I will have no problem working with children from all different backgrounds.
