Every topic can be super tricky depending on the person, and my goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable by the end of the lesson. If you are ever feeling overwhelmed, I am ready to break concepts down and teach them in different ways that work best for how your brain operates.
A typical lesson plan for me consists of breaking down any questions you have. If a question becomes too overwhelming, we set it aside and return to it after trying something new. I believe that when a problem gets too confusing, it's usually because your brain has focused on one detail for too long, and taking a fresh perspective makes all the difference!
I am very good at asking framing questions to get student's brains working. Asking guiding questions that lead them to the answer helps them learn while making the process of learning much less frustrating.
