I am an undergraduate student at the University of Nottingham. Having been through A Level English language and literature I understand the workload and techniques needed to ensure success. For students struggling with exam performance, I
focus on exam technique and correct revision methods. I'm able to break down these techniques and help students to apply them correctly.

Hi - I'm Jemila, a private tutor for A Level OCR English language and literature students and history students.
Here is my three step tuition plan:
1) Identification: Firstly writing technique and exam technique is analysed so we can focus on what skills need to be developed.
2) Technique: After the students current skill set is identified, we will move on to practicing and perfecting certain techniques
3) Practice: The student will be provided with past papers and and exercises to help hone their skills.
My tutoring approach is based on providing understanding of texts, linguistic and exam techniques rather than just memorization. Before each session, the lesson is structured in accordance to the students needs. During the session, subject material is provided. After each session, homework is set and essays can be reviewed.
