About Barnaby
My name is Barnaby and i am studying music at the university of Birmingham. I play a range of instruments like piano, violin, viola and I also enjoy conducting. I am an experienced player in many capacities, having accompanied the university chamber choir for the last year, accompanied many other students in solo performances as well as doing a lot of solo performance as well. As for the violin, i play in the university philharmonic orchestra and play viola in my own string quartet which has also enjoyed several performance. I also had a successful audition to be the conductor for the university string orchestra in the coming year.

Lessons would rage from 30 minutes to an hour depending on age, experience and preference. Lessons would begin with warm ups comprised of scales and exercises, then working on pieces. Again depending on preference and closeness to any exams, we would also do some work on sight reading, theory and aural tests to develop a students musicianship skills and prepare them form examination. Lessons are targeted at beginner to intermediate players with lesson timings being adaptable, ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
