About Lorraina
I am currently a student studying International Relations averaging a 1:1. At University I am the President of a cultural society named ACS which serves a space for specifically African and Caribbean students to interact and bond.
I am keen to work with specifically ethnic minority children to bolster their academic performance. I have an investment in ensuring that at my tutoring sessions leave my young people well equipped with the additional knowledge they need to compete with their peers.
Ultimately I am well educated, dedicated and enthusiastic and hope to be of help to any and all who would like to be tutored.

I am warm and patient, believing all young people have a unique way of learning. I like to tailor my classes to each tutee specifically. I have a very interactive style of teaching and attempt to find new ways of engaging my students.
I prefer to tutor at a GCSE level for 45 minute sessions. I am partial to flashcards and extract analysis as thats where both technique and memory are best learned.
I have been tutoring for just over a year (online due to Covid) and have found students really benefit from my less mundane approach to teaching and learning.
