About Maria
Hi! My name is Maria, and I'm a university admissions officer based in California. I'm also a certified English language teacher & native speaker. I am here to help you with college admissions preparation & English language!
I currently work in admissions and have previously taught English in the US to European students, and in Ukraine to professionals. I love connecting with people from all over the world. I have also been through the process of studying abroad! I would love to help you on your university journey, your English journey, or both.
Personally, I love traveling, dance, reading, and yoga. I am excited to connect with you, and I'm confident I can set you up with all the tools you need for success!

I like to spend our first lesson getting to know you and your goals. I want to help you succeed! Lesson plans will be fully based on your needs. Whether you want to focus on building a list of universities to apply for, practice your English for TOEFL/IELTS/business, need advice on the visa process, prepare your personal statements/essays, etc, I am here for you.
What sets me apart is that I have 10+ years as a university admissions officer in the U.S., and I also studied/worked abroad in Italy, Ukraine, and Australia, so I understand many education systems and the ins-and-outs of the admissions process. I also am a certified English teacher and native speaker and a former international student visa advisor, so I can help you with any of these goals.
