University of Calgary history alumna teaches beginner French. Individual, relaxed teaching approach.

I found Jessica through her profile on Superprof.ca. We worked together to study French.

Jessica is a patient and experienced language teacher. She was very interested in working at my level and provided gentle but consistent feedback.

One thing she really did well was provide resources and suggestions for practice and continued learning outside of our session, which I think is key to progress.

I really recommend her highly to anyone trying to learn one of the multiple languages that she teaches.

Jessica is a great teacher. I was trying to learn French and she was there to help and motivate me through the process. I struggled with pronunciation and she was kind to teach me the right way of pronouncing the words. Also she helped understand the grammar and taught me the correct way of making good sentences. Jessica is so knowledgeable , kind and helpful. My French has improved a lot!

Every class is scenario oriented,easy , funny and relaxing environment at the same time I learnt the language, culture and confidence.
I think she is a great teacher, she leaves me with the sources , answer the questions. it's an autonomous , interactive teaching style which makes learning easily going.

Jessica has helped me for the past year with writing assistance when it comes to history papers, and every time she helps me feel immense clarity in my work and confident moving forward with submitting my papers!
