About Hlengiwe
I am an accounting student who enjoys helping others understand concepts. I know from my ADHD that everyone learns differently and may have different concentration spans, as such, I try to be patient with students. I like keeping conversations light by making jokes. I am also a mentor to first year students to help them navigate their university journey. All in all, I love helping others and creating a comfortable environment.

I speak and understand English, Sesotho as well as Isizulu.
I am very passionate about teaching, particularly with helping people to break down concepts that seem too complicated. I often like to find out what a learner knows and how they process information so that I can explain work in ways that match their thought process. I give a summary of a topic, test them and then proceed to correct their wrongs as well as expand on the given summary.
I offer online lessons but face to face lessons can be arranged for learners around the University of Cape Town.
