About Genevieve
Hi! My name is Genevieve, and I’m a chemistry major at the University of Chicago with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in chemistry and STEM education. I’ve worked as a Mentor with Science Club for Girls, where I taught engaging, hands-on science lessons to elementary students. I also have experience co-teaching coding and working with students of all ages in both academic and camp settings. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and explain chemistry in a clear, approachable way. I know science can feel intimidating, but I focus on building understanding and confidence through supportive, personalized instruction. Outside the lab, I have a deep love for the arts—especially musical theater. On campus, I work as a stage manager for musicals, which has taught me the importance of organization, communication, and teamwork—skills I bring to every tutoring session. I’m passionate about helping students succeed and making science more accessible and exciting for everyone!
