About Will
I am a university design student who has completed both GCSE and A-level Product Design at A* Standard, with maximum coursework marks in each. I have been a sixth form Design & Technology prefect, with experience working with students through from Years 7-13 and offering help and advice with subject-related content. Furthermore, I have A-levels in Maths (A*) and Art, Craft & Design (A*), which support the delivery of Product Design both practically and academically, especially with the increased focus on mathematical questions on the newer grade 9-1 GCSE and reformed A-level in Product Design.

The way I offer teaching is by trying to offer you a personal experience that will focus on areas where you think you need the most help. I do this as by spending more time on topics you struggle with, as this allows you to improve rapidly, and you don't just look at what you already know and understand.
Lessons are offered through a video chat where you can ask me to spend a long time on one topic and go into a lot of detail, or ask brief questions about anything you don't know for your Product Design course. You can ask me about any aspect of either your theory content or coursework, depending on where you feel you need the most support.
I teach through spoken explanations and will also encourage simple sketching as a technique for visualising and remembering information. In addition, in every lesson (excluding the first one), I will give short verbal tests on topics discussed in the previous lesson. The opportunity to be tested regularly is one of the most important things in this subject, as there are a lot of facts to learn, and regular testing will help the information stay in your long-term memory, ready for your exams.

Will is a very hard-working individual who has a passion for the creative subjects and he has gained a fantastic skill set in product design and art and design. As a sixth former he was the senior prefect in the technology department and regularly assisted the younger students with practical help and advice on their projects. He is able to explain things clearly and sensibly in order to achieve the desired outcome. He is extremely dependable and always gives 100% effort to any task he is faced with.
