About Stella
I am a French and Brazilian Portuguese teacher, as well as a certified translator, with over 20 years of experience in language teaching and translation. I completed all my university studies in France, where I lived for 13 years. I hold a Bac + 5 level academic qualification (Bachelor's and Master's/DEA in Modern Languages) from the University of Lyon II, where I also taught Portuguese and Brazilian culture. Subsequently, I worked as a professor at the University of Guanajuato (Mexico), and for the past 7 years, I have lived in Barcelona, where I teach both languages in person and online to students of different nationalities and levels. My classes are dynamic, communicative, and completely personalized. I don't follow a single textbook: I combine grammar, conversation, listening and reading comprehension, videos, articles, songs, and other materials adapted to each student's interests, level, and goals. Whether for studies, work, travel, business, or simply for pleasure, I design a learning plan that allows you to progress with confidence and motivation. Having lived in Brazil, France, Mexico, and Spain allows me to integrate the cultural dimension of language into every class. I believe that learning a language is also about discovering a different way of seeing the world, and I enjoy sharing that experience with my students. I speak Portuguese, French, and Spanish fluently, as well as English and Italian. I have dual Brazilian and Italian citizenship.

I offer dynamic and fully personalized classes tailored to each student’s goals, pace, and interests. My teaching seamlessly blends language learning with cultural immersion, drawing from my 13 years living and studying in France and my native roots in Brazil.
Rather than following a rigid textbook, I design customized lessons using a wide variety of engaging materials—such as targeted grammar exercises, articles, videos, documentaries, and songs. This approach creates a natural, conversational dynamic that boosts both comprehension and speaking confidence from day one.
