About Sylvia
I am a multilingual teacher, giving classes in the following languages: English, Polish and (Brazilian) Portuguese, with over 20 years' experience.
I am a full-time English Lecturer (for general and academic English) at one of the oldest universities in the UK.
I have a genuine passion for teaching and do so with a lot of dedication and commitment. My classes are well-planned and include a variety of activities to engage multiple intelligences and help you practise all four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening). I adapt materials and teaching methods to the particular student and recommend additional books, if necessary.
As a teacher, I am very energetic, with a bubbly personality, which helps students engage in the lesson. I always respond to the needs and make adequate recommendations.
