About Kathryn
I am a recent International History and Politics Graduate from the University of Leeds and I will soon continue studying to complete my training to be a solicitor.
Humanities subjects, mainly History and English, have been my favourite to study throughout school and higher education.
Throughout my study at Leeds I supported students as an Academic Writing Mentor and received the Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) qualification through this role.
I am keen to support students through their study in the subjects I am passionate about, using the skills I have honed whilst studying and working at the University of Leeds.

I am keen to encourage students to build on their own understanding of their existing study to foster the long-term growth and transferability of their learning. I am adaptable to different learning styles and intend to work at your pace to achieve your goals. Curating personal relationships that aid transparency across sessions long-term, is key to my approach when supporting students.
I assure students and their families that comfort, confidence and progression are central to the learning and consolidation environment in my sessions.
