About Elena
I am a history enthusiast, with a particular interest in dress history! With a BA (Hons) in Fashion and Dress History and an MSt in History from the University of Oxford, I am a published dress historian. Though early modern dress history is my specialism, I have a passion for all eras and aspects of the past. I also have a strong background working in archives and museums, where I have had the privilege of seeing how historical knowledge is shared to the public. It is witnessing this, that has inspired me to teach so I might further the consumption of history, and help my students succeed in their studies.

With an MSt in History from the University of Oxford, my goal is to share my knowledge and passion for history with my students. With a background in tutoring individuals of different ages with different learning requirements, I strongly believe that learning should be a fun experience. After an initial meeting, I tailor my lessons to the individual requirements and interests of my students. If a student has a particular interest, I try to teach my lessons within the contexts of their interests. I mostly teach GCSE History and below.
