About Kevin
I have never worked as a Tutor before however I have worked in a couple of main stream Secondary Schools giving lessons to their Students, so I have a very good Understanding of the National Curriculum for Computer Science and I understand the new GCSE number graded system.

I am a true believer that Education is the Key to success and I believe that every Student should be entitled to an outstanding Education with lessons delivered by the best practitioners, no matter whether that be in main stream schooling or at home. I believe that if Students are supported in the correct manner, they will benefit greatly from Academic Support in their future lives.
I have previous experience of working in a Secondary School environment, as a University Learning Support Ambassador (former Academic Coach) for the past year and a half.
I am a keen individual who always likes to get stuck in. In the near future I wish to become a Teacher of Computer Science, in a Secondary School environment, because I truly believe that this is the correct career path for me personally. I love working with Students and helping them achieve their goals and watching their reactions when ‘the penny’ finally clicks, now that is absolutely priceless.
My Area of expertise lies within Computer Science and I enjoy this subject thoroughly. Due to my previous experience, I know that most schools tend to work with the programming language of Python. However, although I know the Python language to a great extent I also know a plethora of other languages which include, but are not limited to: C++, Java, Python, C and Binary Machine code.
I have also worked with the Raspberry Pi Computer in terms of Programming software and hardware in Python as well as using C++ for the Arduino Microcontroller, if your child requires to understand about either of these topics I am more than willing to provide practical demonstrations. I also have basic knowledge of Electronics Engineering and Embedded Systems.
I believe that having experience of teaching Computer Science in a main stream school has its benefits when it comes to Tutoring, because I know the National Curriculum and have a great Understanding of the GCSE specification for a number of Exam boards, as well as knowing the new GCSE number graded system.
With Computer Science being fairly new to the curriculum, I feel I am at a massive advantage having studied it for three years as well as having the opportunity to teach it as well, therefore I believe I would be a good Computer Science Tutor for your child, with the know how and ability to not only Tutor them, but Mentor them as well.
I thank you for reading my bio. If you would require a Computing/Computer Science Tutor then please do get in touch.

Kevin is trustworthy because he is hard working and a reliable person. I'm not saying this because he is my son, but I have seen how much time and effort he puts into his work and helping other people out with their problems. He would be an ideal tutor, for anyone looking for guidance on their troubled subjects.
