About Jose
I am a University student, originally born in Cuba, and moved to Canada as a teenager with my family. I love learning languages and communicating with people of different backgrounds and from all versions of life, this is why I believe my communication skills make it easy to connect with people and create an environment that is adequate for learning, but most importantly, for growing. I love history, finding out new things every day about the past and using my critical thinking skills to theorize about past events and derive my own lessons from them. As to my hobbies, I love playing video games, playing volleyball, reading (especially fantasy and mystery-related novels), and writing poetry as well as thriller and fantastical series.

I have a passion for helping people get through mental obstacles and difficulties in the process of learning and seeing the passion in their eyes alight as they realize that they are able to do anything, no matter how hard it might appear at first. I love connecting with people over subjects and topics that whether or not of complete interest, make for a good and pleasant experience that helps everyone. I have the patience and willingness to make sure not just that you memorize the information, but also love it within its own context.
