I am a Masters Engineering student at the University of Exeter with a background in Mathematics and Physical Sciences. I teach students anywhere from primary education through to A-levels at school and college.
A basis to the lesson structure will involve the following:
- establishing the current level
- identifying problem areas and supplementary work towards these areas
- exam technique
- final fine tuning
As a tutor, I will identify the best way each student learns and develop their understanding through these methods. Core competencies will be developed in order to enable the student to achieve the best grade possible.
I have been tutoring formally for a year, but have been casually advising students and peers for the past 3 years.
In total I have tutored 3 students within this year, each hitting or exceeding their desired targets within mathematics, physics or both.
Currently studying towards a masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter, obtaining a 1st class each year within my bachelors course.
I completed my A-levels at the Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys, achieving A or above in subjects: Maths, Physics, Economics and Graphic Design.
I have completed work experience within Asset Management at J.P. Morgan and a summer internship as an Actuarial Consultant at First Actuarial LLP.
