I started studying web development on my own in middle school and proceeded to study more about programming languages once I got into college. I took A-levels among which C++ and Math.
At this moment, I am in my first year of university studying Software engineering. Among other units, I study Web developing, Computers & Networks and Programming.
I am more than comfortable with following programming languages :Java, PHP and other web technologies such as HTML,HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
However, beside this nerdy passion, I'm very much into teaching others. Actively tutoring some of my class mates. I am also working to release a blog and a youtube channel oriented to provide learning material to be available at all times for everyone, but that project is still in progress.
As for my teaching methods, I usually approach a way that fits the person. I like to talk about analogies and explain a certain algorithm or code using a real life situation if it's the case or draw explanations as sometimes people understand it better when they see the way it works. I do encourage exercise and provide as many exercises as you want to solve to own the concepts rather than barely understanding it.
Usually, I provide notes on whatever new concepts you are learning. Those can be a written explanation or actual code with colored notations all over explaining all bits.
I used to help my classmates in college with C++ so they pass the unit. Now, at uni, I was tutoring one class mate in Java and he managed to pass the first semester so far. He told me he likes the way I explain and so I've only got positive feedback so far.
It may be higher if I have to travel somewhere far.

November 2016 – Current, Blogger, Bournemouth University, England
My focus is to use my experience to help future students get an idea of what life at Bournemouth University is and what it means to be a student in general. I am writing for a large range of people and sometimes keeping the blogs short and engaging when there is so much more to say is a real challenge.
However, I like every aspect of it and the best part is that I get the freedom to express myself just as I do while coding. The more I write, the easier it gets to express my thoughts through words.
