About Jack
I began tutoring during Sixth Form (2014-2016) and having worked with struggling students in the past, I feel I am able to aid students at whatever level. I have tutored two students in the past, both having reached their potential in obtaining the neccessary grades in their GCSE's for further studies. Although my experiences may be less than the average tutor, I am far from inexperienced, currently working alongside the University of Kent in the First World War Schools project where the aim is to teach schools in the Kent area on the First World War through a variety of engaging methods ranging from source-based activities to days spent at the University of Kent Canterbury Campus.
Having been an army cadet for several years, I often found myself in positions of responsibility and where I was looked at to teach.

A hard-working, self-disciplined, punctual Military History Student with a love for teaching. My lessons are engaging, well-researched, entertaining (I'm always one to crack a joke!), and flexible, being tailored to the student first. I can focus on the content behind studies alongside exam and essay preparation, focusing on technique and structure of essays. Being able to give both lecture-style lessons and lessons focusing on student participation, I feel I can provide a thorough learning experience for my students.
