About Charlotte
I have been playing the piano for over a decade and achieved a Distinction in Grade 8 Piano. Having started learning at a young age myself, I understand both the challenges and excitement that come with developing as a musician. I know from experience how important it is to have a patient, encouraging teacher who can build confidence, maintain motivation, and make learning enjoyable.
I want to teach because I am passionate about sharing my love of music with others and helping students develop confidence in their abilities. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student overcome a challenge, make progress, and take pride in what they can achieve. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to grow as musicians.

I specialise in teaching beginners and students working towards Grades 1–5, with lessons tailored to each student's age, ability, and goals. My priority is creating engaging, enjoyable lessons that build confidence and encourage a genuine love of music.
Lessons develop strong piano technique, music theory, sight-reading, and repertoire through clear explanations, structured guidance, and a supportive learning environment. I am patient, attentive, and focused on helping students progress at a pace that suits them, whether they are learning for enjoyment, building a solid musical foundation, or preparing for exams.
