I am a student who has been learning the piano myself since I was nearly 6 years old. I am on grade 6 having done theory exams as well. I am looking into becoming a teacher.

I will base my classes on the individual need, starting at their level and making sure all the basics, such as reading music are fully covered first. I feel an understanding of theory would also help them in their proficiency, even if they then decide not to take any theory exams.
