About Shelby
I am a 19-year-old university student who will graduate 2 years earlier than my peers because of my academics while in high school. I graduated with my associate's degree at 17 and will graduate with my bachelor's degree at 19. I've written many papers, one of which is currently on the road to getting published and I'm also in the middle of working on some other projects that will be presented at regional and national conferences. I have been working as childcare worker for the last couple of years and have experience of working with children ages 3-13. I have also been hired as a writing consultant for university students and have tutoring experience with older age students as well.

I strive to make sure that any student I tutor truly understands the subject matter and feels comfortable asking questions and getting help with something if they need. A typical lesson with me will be solely based on mastering the skill level the student is at, while also working to build that skill level without overloading the brain. I have experience of working with all elementary age students as well as some middle and high school age students. I am a great fit for this subject as I have been hired as a writing consultant, excelled in my studies while in school, and regularly work with children as well.
