Barnaby's enthusiasm for piano is clear though his teaching. He is patient and clear in his directions. My 12 year old has just started and thinks the lessons are really fun.

Barnaby is a skilled pianist and excellent teacher. I have a background in music (GCSE music, many years in a choir, and many years playing guitar and violin), but no piano background. Barnaby quickly assesse and worked around my background to teach me applicable skills that would set me up to learn more piano going forward, as well as enabling me to learn to play a song I hadn't played before. I highly commend him as a teacher.

My daughter loves Barnaby. He is gentle, calm and positive - and he really knows his stuff on both the practical and theory side. She was lacking motivation with one particular grade 2 piece but after half an hour with Barnaby she'd learned the whole piece and was very proud of herself. Highly recommend!
