About Eva
I am a History student at Durham University with a strong academic background, having achieved 45/45 in the International Baccalaureate, including a 7 in French Higher Level, and 9s in all 11 of my GCSEs. I also hold a DELF B2 qualification in French.
Having studied French throughout my education, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of developing confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. I am enthusiastic, approachable and organised, and I enjoy helping others build their skills and achieve their academic goals.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs. Having achieved a 7 in IB French Higher Level and obtained my DELF B2 qualification, I understand the challenges of language learning and the importance of building confidence alongside fluency.
Lessons combine conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary and reading and listening comprehension. For exam students, I can also focus on past papers, exam technique and effective revision strategies. I aim to make learning enjoyable and interactive, encouraging students to speak French confidently without being afraid of making mistakes.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but can be adapted to suit individual needs. I can support GCSE and A-level students, younger learners and anyone looking to improve their conversational French.
