2015 – 2018
Groundsman at St John the Baptist church.
My responsibilities included mowing the lawns weekly, preparing for events and completing other miscellaneous tasks during events like ticket collecting and dealing with clients booking out the church hall.
2017 – 2019 Crew Trainer at Mcdonalds.
My responsibilities at Mcdonalds include training less experienced staff members, serving customers on till and via table service, preparing food and cleaning the store.

I am currently studying Media (Film) Production (BA) at Staffordshire university,

I gained a multitude of skills in my previous jobs such as my strong work ethic and punctuality. The main skill I developed is my confidence and good rapport with customers/clients as have spent a lot of time ensuring clients are satisfied when dealing with bookings for the hall at my position at St John’s and the majority of my time at Mcdonald’s was spent serving customers to a high standard. I also believe strongly in my leadership skills, gained through training crew members at Mcdonald’s on various aspects of the job. I have also expanded this skillset through other extra-curricular activities such as being a Young leader in the Sea Scouts. During my time as a Young leader I coached young children rowing, helped organize and run camping trips among other things, furthering my leadership skills and communication skills with people of various ages and backgrounds. As part of my degree, studying Film Production, I have directed two documentary films. Leading a crew in this way has improved my confidence and competence leading groups of people and organising cast members accross projects such as filming the Midlands Middle Weight Title Fight boxing match in Stoke on Trent. Furthermore, I have developed my teaching skills through leading and helping out in French classes to younger year groups during my time at school, I gained an appreciation for teaching and furthered my abilities in this area during this time.

My hobbies include playing football and Ultimate Frisbee. These activities have developed my teamwork skills and communication as both sports rely on cooperation with teammates and a willingness to work hard. I also enjoy writing and performing music; the confidence to do so has made me more outgoing and up for anything. One of my greatest achievements was staging a concert to fundraise for a 3 week conservation trip I completed in Mexico. I needed to raise a sum of £2,500 and over half of this was made at the concert as I was able to sell 250 tickets for people to watch myself and two other bands perform. My organization skills benefitted from this as it was a big task to sort out the venue and the other performers. Overall, my past work experience and extra-curricular activities have helped me develop aptitude with interpersonal relationships with teammates and customers; my good work ethic and strong leadership skills.
