Teaching mathematics and helping others learn is all about sharing knowledge and boosting confidence. I genuinely believe that anyone can understand maths with the right support. Tutoring will always begin with a mini assessment to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Based on the results and input from the student, I will construct a lesson plan that works for myself and the student.
Will identify a list of topics to work on , each week we will focus on a topic using effective resources and example answers. If I find that the student is not comfortable by the end of the weekly sessions, more lessons can be booked based on my availability or will carry on over to the next week.
Lessons will typically last an hour, once a week at a minimum, if more hours are needed this can be discussed.
Lessons are for students from KS2 all the way up to GCSE level.
