About Sophia
Hello! My name is Sophia and I am a student at the University of Toronto who is pleased to offer you online French tutoring services. I attended a French immersion elementary school and have taken advanced French courses at the high school and University level under the instruction of francophone teachers. I find joy in sharing my skills with other ambitious children and individuals, which is why I aspire to become a teacher. As your tutor, I will make sure to work at a comfortable pace and construct personalized lesson plans to meet your language needs. If you are a student, I will typically rely on curriculum standards of your country to plan my lessons, or help you with assignments, homework, and areas of difficulty. If you are an individual who simply wants to learn French, then you are free to take a self-directed approach to our sessions! I think an effective language lesson combines all aspects of communication, which is why I incorporate oral, written, and listening/audio comprehension and expression into my tutoring lessons. I specialize in teaching children and youth within the kindergarten to grade 12 age range.

I really great tutor for both my sons! They improved so much under her guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone from elementary to high school. Great job, Sophia!
Sophia's patience and diligence are unprecedented. She always had the highest marks in her own studying from school to the University and never stops learning. But most importantly, she is loved by kids and really passionate about teaching.
Sophia is a nice tutor and is very patient. She likes going through different subjects of french so that the student would understand.
