About Cade
I have been playing bass for nearly 10 years. I am trained through university, where I learned fretless bass technique, jazz ensemble performance, and jazz improvisation. I received initial lessons from an accomplished bassist local to San Jose. I now lead a jazz combo local to San Jose and am a songwriter.

I see my students as myself, and put heavy emphasis on learning through genuine understanding.
My lessons are structured from fundamentals, progressing to specific goals of the student. Our first sessions will focus on establishing your knowledge base, and I will tailor our lesson plan based on your specific goals. I am well-versed on instructing music theory, improvisation, chord voicings, right-hand and left-hand technique, but will be able to assist with ALL subjects.
I have a gift of breaking down complicated concepts into simple concepts for smoother learning, making lessons with me an enriching, fun time!
