About James
Over the past 40 years, my students have come to know me as one who listens to them, and offer them my advice. A case at point. A special needs student was caught cheating on my exam. The examiner took the student to my office. The student was trembling, and was visibly autistic. I told him that he can keep his grade and then told the examiner that he has enough demons to deal with. This is who I am.

I’ve been teaching university undergraduate mathematics for roughly 40 years. Students are enthralled with my teaching. When meeting with students, I always add a little humour to break the ice (I’m actually part comedian). I am great on tutoring. I make it a point to get on a student’s wavelength.
