About Georgia
I am a university student studying Spanish and Business management at the University of Manchester. Currently, I'm undertaking a year abroad in which I am an English language assistant in a Secondary school in Madrid. I am enjoying this role so much that I have been considering going into teaching as a profession. I love to share knowledge and help others to understand concepts that were unknown to me also in the past. Personally, I believe it's important for someone to understand and learn in a way that suits them. I am capable of learning the ways they understand content in order for them to comprehend the topic.

I am currently a secondary school teaching assistant in which my role is to conduct classes on a variety of topics. My lesson plans include a mixture of theory, activities and games to engage my students. I am open to teaching any amount of time (30 minutes to 1 hour). My lesson plans are aimed for Secondary students from ages 11 to 16 years old. I have previously tutored English language to a Spanish speaking student in Madrid. I have the following qualifications: A Levels - Spanish- A. Economics- B. Business- A. Whilst having an 8 (equivalent to A*) in English language.

Georgia currently tutors my son via Zoom. My son attends the school Georgia works at in Madrid, Spain. She is a British assistant who can speak Spanish therefore it is useful for my son to be able to communicate with her in both languages. This because my son’s first language is Catalan.
She practices activities with him external to what he learns at school, which gives him a better understanding and extra practice speaking English and Spanish with her.
