About Joe
Hi! My name is Joe, and I am an incoming third year at the University of Warwick. I've always loved teaching in any form; over the last few years I've worked as a piano mentor, a UCAS mentor for refugees, a volunteer at an organisation that assists the elderly with technology, among many more in a very diverse set of roles! I'd love the opportunity to be piano tutor, given how much joy the instrument (and many piano tutors) have given me over the course of my life.

When it comes to music, I have always valued an empathic and patient approach to teaching. I have always created my own resources for my students, with my creations designed to best benefit an individual's interests, strengths and preferred method of learning.
I am very flexible with lesson times and can easily adapt to the preferences of the student and/or family.
I have grade 8 distinction and a DipABRSM in piano performance (equivalent to the first year of a degree). I have previously worked as a piano tutor at my university's piano society, as well as extensive teaching experience generally, including as a seminar tutor at my university and as a mentor for refugees applying to university.
