My teaching method is to first speak to my tutee about the points they feel weakest on and then working on lessons from there. Mainly speaking based so students can speak through their thought processes to get a better understanding of where they are getting things right or wrong. Making sure to use an organised syllabus/specification with assignments set between tutorials.
Current Year 13 student at top state grammar school. Studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Geography and studying PPE at university.
Can teach up to A-Level Mathematics, having achieved an A* at GCSE and currently being predicted an A* in A-Level Mathematics, having covered the entire course in Year 12.
Teaching method largely would consist of spoken through questions to encourage tutees to speak through their thought process on questions to then be evaluated.
Problem sheets and occasional tests will also be set to keep a track of progress.
