About Marte
Now 37 and residing in the US, my heart still remains firmly anchored in the fjords and mountains of Norway. My pride in my Norwegian heritage is more than a feeling; it's a living, breathing passion that influences every aspect of my life. I find immense joy in sharing everything Norwegian—from the intricate tales of Norse mythology, fairytales and culture to the rich tapestry of modern-day politics and news.
In my spare time, I am deeply committed to a lifestyle that embraces Cross Training, fitness, and running. My rescue horse, Balder, named after the Norse god of light, represents a connection to my roots :)
I strive and enjoy to weave together the stories of Norway with the experiences of my current life in the US. Through conversations, teachings, and shared experiences, I aim to bridge the gap between cultures, showcasing the beauty and depth of Norwegian heritage while embracing the diversity and dynamism of life in America.
