About Chelsea
Hey! I'm Chelsea. An educator from Toronto that has spent the last 10+ years tutoring students in Math and Science but I have been teaching for over 15 years in Irish dance. I went to UofT and graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with a double minor in Human Physiology, Math, and Psychology. I have a passion to help students learn how things work, to gain a deeper understanding in subjects, and to build confidence. Confidence is a key factor in success, because you REALLY can do it on your own! :)

Proven teaching method that focuses on building confidence and ensuring that students can REALLY "Do it on their own!" I always meet my students where they are at and we will work together to utilize their best learning strategies to their benefit! *Typical sessions highlight between 2-5 topics/streams of content over the course of 60mins. *This method has proven to ensure longer retention of concepts over time. *Every 2-3 months of working with a student, there is a concept check-in, to review all materials learned up until that point to catch concepts that were not initially grasped the first time around. *Highly specialized in Math (pre-k to 12) *Highly specialized in General Sciences (introduction to 10) *Highly specialized in Biology (11 to University) *Highly specialized in Chemistry (11 to University)

Perfect! Chelsea is an excellent tutor! She is patient, takes time explaining concepts and truly wants to help students understand the concepts they are struggling with.
