About King
I am a recent graduate with a bachelors in Cell and Molecular Biology and minor in Public health. I'm an excellent verbal and written communicator with a strong background cultivating positive relationships and exceeding goals. I am pretty proficient in many biology and chemistry courses. Since late 2019, I have tutored Chemistry and Biology. I have successfully coordinated lesson plans, course materials, and discussion questions for my lessons. I've also ensured that my give my student the right tools that they need to succeed . I consistently try to find ways to build interest in the topic area that i teach. My ideal clients are high school and college students. However I do have experience teaching middle school students. I haven’t taught grade 1-5 subjects, but I am be open to taking on that responsibility.
Chemistry is my favorite topic to teach. Hence, i then to prefer to teach this. I have successfully tutored High school student who took the AP Exams. These student have been successful in their respective exams.
I prefer my students to give me a few days notice before a session so that I can prepare for the study material. I also love when students have questions that they want to go over. I like to think of myself as a guide to help them. My teaching style is very laid back, I have an inviting persona with my students. Over my tutoring experience I have received 97% positive feedback from my students for competence and approachability.
I have always loved the sciences and excelled in these courses in my high school and college days. I graduated with a 3.84 GPA and got an A in every biology and chemistry class that I have ever taken. I can teach organic chemistry but prefer not to this subject.

I am laid back in my tutoring style, however I typically commit to a minimum of 1.5 hours for each session.
I prefer to have a set date each week to go over the subject matter.
