About Stephen
I have had the good fortune to be able to help thousands of students over my years' of teaching and tutoring. I guide the students through each lesson, and section of their course, to ensure that they make progress. I want to put them at ease, and inspire them. I want to make the student into a confident learner, and to be able to take this increased confidence into all of their other subjects. A greater understanding of the English language, will spread into a greater understanding of other subjects, such as History, Geography, Business Studies, and even Maths.

I believe that all lessons have to be tailored to the individual student. There will be a clear lesson objective, and I will work to ensure that that objective is met throughout the lesson, checking understanding as we move through the lesson. After spending over twenty years teaching and tutoring, I have a vast amount of both experience and resources; as well as being educated up to Master of Arts level. Most importantly though, the lessons have to be engaging, with a sense of fun. Students will not reach their full potential if they do not enjoy the lessons; this is the challenge that I have learnt to master, and the philosophy that I bring into all lessons. I teach GCSE, iGCSE and Advanced Level, English and English Literature. However, I am willing to consider all English based lesson requirements.
