About Carol
I am a retired teacher. I was a deputy head of a secondary school but also taught English and literature to GCSE. I have examined with major UK exam boards for over ten years. I tutor students now because I want to push young people to achieve and be aspirational.

I teach 55 minutes lessons that are interactive but totally focused on assessment at GCSE. I have been an examiner with several exam boards for ten years so I know how to improve students' exam technique and maximise their potential. I work with students who are underperforming or those who need to achieve a certain grade for their next stage of education.
