About Sydney
I currently have a degree in animal science and am pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. I was a teachers assistant for 4 years in high school and a student ambassador for three years of university. I’ve been painting since I was little and have also taken a few art classes myself for fun.

My teaching approach will focus on questions. I like to ask vague questions on a specific topic to encourage the student to speak broadly about what knowledge they do have and then narrow in on what they want to learn. For example, explain the flow of food through a cow as it is digested. This opens up discussion for all the digestive anatomy, a complex subject, while encouraging a student to speak openly without overwhelming them with immediate complexity.
