Hello, Students!
My name is Rita Callahan. I have been teaching for 26 years, having served in private, public, and charter schools. My students have ranged from pre-school age to adulthood.
In my tutoring sessions, my number one goal is that you master the content. Whenever there is a misunderstanding, I encourage you to ask questions and to keep asking until you are satisfied with the explanation. This is how you will become successful.

As a Spanish teacher / tutor, my goal is for my students to reach mastery of the content - not to simply "cover" the material. I use easy-to-understand methods and strategies, such as associations, acrostics, and chants. I also strongly encourage my students to ask questions for more understanding.
If you are new to Spanish or need a refresher, I would begin my lesson with teaching how to greet and meet people.
Whether you are learning for fun or need to stay on track as a student who is taking Spanish in school, my sessions can give you the boost you need.
