About Christina
I’m a Vet Med student, I offer tutoring in GCSE and A Level Chemistry and Biology. I achieved A* at both subjects at A Levels and IGCSE. I am most familiar with the OCR exam board but am able to cover the contents of others as well. I can also help with vet school applications and interview prep for vet applicants. I’ve always enjoyed learning and teaching these subjects, and I hope my students will not only succeed academically but also be passionate about them.
Having gone through A Levels and the UCAS process recently myself, I know how stressful it can be balancing science subjects with university applications. My goal is to make things easier and help you feel more confident and supported on this journey.
I have two years of experience with online freelance tutoring, and have assisted with science peer mentoring sessions at school. My strength lies in my ability to break down difficult concepts into more digestible pieces, and making sessions engaging by creating discussions even when they are not in-person.

I use slides with diagrams and visuals during sessions, as well as annotating along the way. I aim for my sessions to be engaging by doing quizzes and encouraging them to ask and answer questions. I also appreciate feedback and tailor my teaching to individual needs and preferences.
I am happy to set homework with online resources and review them with students to help consolidate lesson knowledge.
